Nazmu Shajani, BA, CGA

My name is Nazmu Shajani and I am a Certified General Accountant.  I have been in public accounting since 1973 and founded this firm in 1984.  It is through hard work and dedicated service that I attribute the success of this firm.

Over the years I have gained an abundance of experiences that allow me to represent my clients with proficiency in tax and financial matters.  I enjoy formulating plans that help my clients meet their objectives – and helping them accomplish those objectives.  It is this sense of pride in the service to facilitate the success of our clients that forms the culture of this firm.

After completing my Bachelor of Arts degree, I joined the accounting industry in England, after which I moved to Canada and worked my way to achieve a professional designation.  Throughout this time and in the years since, I have gained an abundance of experiences that allow me to offer outstanding professional service and practiced advice.

I also believe in giving back to my community.  I have been a member of local community councils and am often approached by community leaders for my advice and philanthropy.  

My bio would not be complete without mentioning my wonderful wife Mumtaz who has lovingly stuck with me though the demanding times of building this firm, and three grandchildren, Shaheena, Rahmaan and Mysha who are always in my thoughts – as well as my daughters Rose and Zahra  - and sons Shafiq and Nizam.
